YEAR 2024 At the heart of a vibrant archipelago, where modernity meets tradition, lies Ozakai, an effervescent metropolis that pulses to the rhythm of its inhabitants. In the historic district of Kurogane-kōji, visitors can admire the cherry blossoms in spring, creating a magical picture but also and above all corpses lying in pools of blood and incessant gang wars, because yes, the city of Ozakai is also recognized as being the HQ of the Sakai-Kai clan which reigns as master of terror over this city. But there remains a glimmer of hope for its inhabitants, the Hiiro no Samurai (Scarlet Samurai), a masked samurai who leads a merciless War against the Sakai-Kai clan and their objective of getting their hands on the Blood Maiden, a relic of enormous power that could change the balance of power forever. Thus begins the [bloody] adventures of our dear Scarlet Samurai! It is a spin-off of Arcanum Benders.
