A mad cultist attempts to sacrifice a child to summon a dark God into this world. However, he didn't seem to investigate exactly what said Dark God values in a true offering.
The newly christened prophet returns to her daily work cycle. Having been introduced to the concept of Eldritch Kindness, she slowly finds opportunities to apply it in this bleak realm.
Returning to the Work Cycle with a newly acquired totem from the Allmother, Sacaryn experiences the influence of the God of Justice making its way into her world. Though there will be unintentional side effects when you interact with The Beast of the Pillars.
In standing up for another worker, Sacaryn puts herself in certain danger. She is not prepared for the strangeness of fate, and how the Kind Ones often bring people together in unexpected ways.

However her dreams would not offer the respite she had hoped for. Fortunately, the daily activities of martinets will offer enough distractions to draw her mind away from thoughts of dark gods and alien worlds.
