Dolorem

Neit Gunnar is invulnerable. Nothing can hurt him except what he does to others: every blow he lands comes back to him as chronic pain, sometimes for good. Dolorem follows him through a failing healthcare system while two supernatural forces, Nocere, the energy of harm, and Nepenthe, the energy of soothing, compete to decide what his suffering is for. Written by Jon Fila, who began the series during the nerve damage and surgery that made chronic pain his daily condition, and drawn by David Witt, Dolorem is about what pain costs the people who carry it and the people who love them.
