Recruit

Recruit is an unforgiving anti-war graphic novel written and illustrated by Caleb Ocanas. It follows Wesley Smith, a young American man who finds himself drafted in Vietnam. Instead of portraying war as a fantasy, Recruit slowly drifts into a surreal, nightmarish descent into hell, showing the unspeakable atrocities committed by both sides of the conflict.
