Panoptys Argos, the STARFLAYER, journeys across the stars to resurrect humanity after their extinction at the hands of an alien conspiracy. He is joined by an artificial human named Synessa, who holds a key to their return; however, she doesn't seem to share in his enthusiasm for their return.

An experimental project: the illustrator draws the panels, experimenting with different medium each season, knowing full well what the story and dialogues should be, but shares none of it with the writer, who then has to come up with own interpretation.

In the distant future, long after the Scourge, Earth has become a reserve protected by Gaia, an Artificial Intelligence.
Humankind has proliferated in space, colonizing more than 50 planets within a radius of 30 light-years. Isolated from one another, human societies have never been so diverse. Genetic and cybernetic enhancements, although banned after the Scourge, have created hybrid beings, often considered subhuman.
Ideologies, religions and the thirst for profit are the pretext for incessant wars.
It's in this universe that a noy so clever smuggler finds himself at the heart of events that could change the future of all humankind.
