The first three days of the apocalypse have nearly collapsed law and order in the city and suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. An infection has spread through what seems to be more than half of the population, causing them to rise again as a flesh-hungry cannibal. Joshua Martens and Phil Anderson are the only known survivors of Aberdeen Elementary's staff, and therefore are the only ones left responsible for the care of the student body. However, even surviving the first few days prove to be nearly insurmountable as morale quickly runs out...
