Do you sometimes find that purely writing something for your project is the better medium?
Even for my scripts I like to try and write in a loose outline of prose. But I find worldbuilding can be hard to put into a short comic every month without overshadowing the story. Do any of you guys feel especially the same, or have any particular pieces you really adore for what it adds to your world? Here's mine:[What was that in Arcadia?

The church in the middle of Rable Street was surrounded with them, but it wasn't like they were trying to get inside. The whole situation is fucked. They told us not to call them zombies, but even Carroll, Martinez, and Holden call them zombies. The first week was hell and I didn't think it could get any worse until now.

I keep watching the lights in the houses next to the church. Sometimes there are people in there, and then I get to wondering if they're dead too. I can't watch another one eat their pet dog.

Arcadia, October 14th 2005

We monitored Rable Street from our grey fortification in 420 Rable. There are too many across the street to handle. I think they know we're watching them from the second story. There's this girl in a red hoodie that hasn't taken her eyes off of the house. I've observed the habitual twitching and light laughter, consistent with the age range. She's a fucjking kid and doesn't deserve this. None of us do. Carroll wanted to be dispatched but I'm glad she didn't. She's seen enough with the other doctor just learning to walk again. All of us are surprised that hacking his arm off actually did something.

I haven't gotten enough sleep. I'm just waiting to leave and I can't leave and I'm sick of watching the zombies sit by the doors. Why are they crying? That

That one zombie is National Guard out of Illinois. I understand that Chicago was hit especially hard even compared to the Midwest. Stage 5s everywhere according to FEMARS, but they haven't done much good anywhere. At least we're allowed to kill them now before they actually confirm biting activity. The brains smell like shit and I'm sick of burning my clothes once I break them in.

The heavy guys came in to try and clear the church but they got jumped on. The parasite sucks so much calcium it makes your teeth like spikes of rebar, one of the FEMARS volunteers said. But I'm not trusting them right now, they keep getting killed putting their cute tape up.

Ocober 15th

Why are they flying bandits out of the evac centers instead of us? It's fucking stupid, if I just slept forever i'd be better off. I've radioed in that I can hear them singing inside the church now. I think it'll be my sixth time and then after that I might as well blow my brains out.

That girl is looking at me and I wonder what her name was. Maybe I could give her the gun and see if she'd find her humanity to blow my brains out instead of biting me.]

Re: What are you working on?
We finished up Volume 1 of our series, which is awesome!

Volume 2 will show a bigger breakdown of the infection as well as POVs of characters not yet seen that may know more than our little group does...

Why hot dogs are to blame for our comic's plot
We discussed the origins of our zombie outbreak over on an awesome podcast called the Zombie Book Club. Here's our favorite clip from that!

New comic cover: better or worse than the old one?
As the title says, for a zombie focused comic series, is our new series cover or the older one better for visually telling what it's about?

Re: What are you working on?
We have been working on this little project on and off between working on our comic series, "Days Worth Living". We think this will be a wonderful tie-in piece with our comic and features some great voice talent!

Zombie Apocalypse Discord
Hey all! Since we're the creators of a zombie apocalypse comic, we also have a Discord for all things apocalypse/zombie based!

We frequently post exclusive art pieces from our comic and its world there, as well as early looks at the issues as they release. Not only that, we discuss all sorts of zombie media, from shows, to movies, to games, and even more obscure pieces of media.

If that sounds like a community for you, come join us here!

Re: Introduce Your Comic and You! (Old Thread)
Hello! We're a team of two working on a zombie apocalypse comic: "Days Worth Living", that tackles the question right in the title — how do you find a life worth living when the world has come to an end?

It all started from a simple zombie sketch to test out Procreate's features (a new program for us at the time, we originally were Medibang artists only), and evolved into a story following a schoolteacher, his class, and their bus driver navigating the zombie-filled streets of Chicago and its suburbs.

You can find our first three issues here on GlobalComix, as well as NamiComi and Comcraft!

We're very happy to be in a community with such talented artists and we hope to craft you a story that moves you to tears and horror as well as joy.
