A rock from outer space had hit earth and destroyed a chunk of the planet- if only the story had stopped there. Fifty years ago, an asteroid had breached the stratosphere, plummeting unto earth, just as expected by the experts at CNEOS many years ago. However, what they did not expect was the things that came out of the asteroid. The world fell into chaos and confusion. The military stood no chance against their number. The leaders abandoned their people. And now, fifty years later... we exist.

The year 2054, Daniel Dietrich, a mercenary, who tries to live as better as he can, taking odd jobs, from the most mundane, to including murders, not that he's happy with his life, he's even shown being stressed because of this. Shit hits the fan when he interrupts a robbery in a local market, he engages in a fight with a thief, and ends with Daniel badly injured and the thief dead.

Honey and Hive meanwhile are new members of the Honeybees, an organisation for interstellar resque missions. They are the new pilots of the brand new Neutrino 2. They are tasked to prevent the vector shard from falling into the wrong hands.
