She also realizes that her blindness isn't total, but that she can see magic. Raised by the elvish military, she quickly distinguishes herself and becomes the bodyguard of the princess. Together they'll get into all sorts of hijinks, but in the background Alva's elvish father is scheming to use her skills for his own purposes.
The Beached Lighthouse
