Their relationship is as volatile as it is unbreakable — master and student, assassin and target. Karrie spends her days trying to kill Cassius, while he brushes off each attempt like a child’s game. But during a routine train ride, a smuggling job gone wrong unleashes a creature born from humanity’s malice — their deadly game turns into a nightmare.
