Emi, known as "Blink" in some darker corners of Solesynce has a problem... She's dying. Ironic, given Emi's been trained as a killer since her construction. Bred as an operative for the SYNC corporation, she specializes in hacking optic systems. Able to blink in and out of areas, eliminating targets without detection. She was dismissed from service after a job went bad. Her severance would typically result in returning ALL corporate property back to SYNC. Which includes her augmented brain, killing her. The rest of her body would be recycled. And that would be the end of her story... But she opted for the *extended life lease*[trademark SYNC CORP]. Which means she gets to pay monthly for the privilege of continuing to live. Unfortunately, her brain model is a GEN 03 and SYNC stopped updating the firmware this cycle… without updates her brain will degrade and kill her. So, she is dying… Emi has 2 options, pay SYNC for the GEN 07 model before time runs out and her mind degrades. Slowly losing her abilities, memories and who she is … or find someone who can help her. Luckily, corporations are VERY competitive.
