However, mercenaries, assassins, warlords, gangsters, criminals, outlaws, and bounty hunters like Billie and Jean do not always follow these laws of the Galactic Order.
To survive in a life where one day they are the hunters and another day the hunted, they navigate the challenges of a universe where adherence to the Galactic Order's laws is not always a priority.

Created after the SSC was deemed too inefficient in contact with otherworldly forces, they overthrew the current galactic emperor and established dozens of Manors- space station housing Lords and their Star Knights. While feuding with other Manors, the house of the Lion notices an intergalactic threat rising in the neighboring star system. Born from the collapse of a blue giant and wielding a neutron star atop his staff, a vile wizard seeks to exact vengeance upon the SSC's old dominion.
