I know there’s no one here yet so I’m making these posts to document my progress.
I decided to break up my script for issue one into sections. I made thumbnails and rough layouts for the cover art and first few pages. So I’m now working on the final sketches for those pages. I’m essentially setting up my process so that I have each stage of the comic making process available to work on. If I feel like inking I already have sketches ready, if I feel like making thumbnails, then I can work on the next section of the script. I figured this would be a way to create variety instead of grinding each stage of the process. I’m sure there’s lots of creators here that do the same, however I originally started my comic with a traditional process in mind.
Right now I have cover art and 2 pages sketched out. I need to sketch 2 more pages then I can decide to either start inking or making more thumbnails.
