I feel it best to share this particular piece of news now given the position I am in as a creator. As of late for the first time I genuinely feel satisfied with how my art looks. For a very long time even when I started off I didn't like the way I drew and I wish I could have done a better job with some of the earlier art work particularly with Hawk and Flo Adventures.
I take no shame in the fact I started out rough and I want to make one thing 100% clear. The version of the comic that won the best All ages comic award last year will be fully preserved on The Duck and Comic Fury, but I feel it best for the future of the series to take a step back and draw the earlier stuff the way I originally wanted it to look. The story will not change, the only thing planned will be an additional flashback scene in one of the diner episodes depicting how Monk lost his memory. Field Day the current storyline repurposed a lot of what 'Last Space Wizard' did so we are effectively getting now what that story would have been. As I've grown as a creator and gotten better at story telling, I feel flashback scene is a good idea as it explains some of the questions the comic's audience on Comic Fury had when they first read the comic.
Remaking Ice Cream Truck Of Doom is a tall order which is why on November 30th I will begin a period I am calling 'The Long 30 days'. In which I will sit down wake up as early as I can and remake every chapter of ICTOD. The reason I am dubbing this 'The Long 30 days' is because it might take longer than just 30 days. Thriller Made Of Vanilla's remake took just over a month, but that fight scene was the hardest task by far. It's done and I won't have to go back and redo it, the 2023 remake of it will stand for the rest of time now.
As for Inksgiving the rewards (on Tapas) will be a bit different this year, as I am going to offer something a bit more exciting than Last year. One of them (500K reward) will be the secret ending to ICTOD! have a great rest of your day!
