130. ◆Forest Drawing Tips
Agentny003
I use saturation on my cloudy or rainy scenes. This is actually great to put out.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003: Saturation is a really difficult thing to teach, but once you make sure about it, it becomes really fun!

128. ◆Painting Forest Leaves in Detail
Agentny003
Too vibrant? they look fine to me. it pops out more.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003: That's what I thought too, but apparently the colors really hurt his eyes.

126. Funny T-Shirt Print
Agentny003
Hold on so your friend’s boyfriend is a tiger? I thought it was another cat. 😄
That means he must be tall and muscular in real life.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
Yeah, I think he's pretty musculra.
He's super easygoing and a really nice guy.
Mari's is lucky.
Agentny003
Doesn’t hurt to do a small favor. 😄😁
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
Yeah, that’s true, but for some reason I felt like I was losing out in that moment and ended up yelling lol

123. ◆Make the Ladybug Pop
Agentny003
Sounds like you’re not a fan of Larvae’s.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
Of course I don’t like them! They’ve got way too many legs!
Can you even touch bugs???
Mikesaka Art Class (◆Episodes are about art methods.)
122. ◆Painting Roses in Watercolor
Agentny003
Sometimes colors you don’t like go well with the image, kiddo.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
Once you figure out where to use that color, it’s time to graduate from my class.
Mikesaka Art Class (◆Episodes are about art methods.)
121. ◆How to Enjoy Drawing
Agentny003
@tamakimikesaka: I just posted my latest chapter. Took a while but it was worth it.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
I’ve been waiting for that!
I’ll definitely read it this week!
Agentny003
Let’s hope not.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
But if I put my finger in front of him, he won’t hesitate to clamp down on it.lol

118. ◆Creating Texture by Rubbing
Agentny003
The details are awesome and kiddo be careful with those flowers.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
I actually like a tea called amacha, made from hydrangeas—but it’s a little toxic too.
If you drink too much, it can make you feel sick.
So yeah, I try to keep it to about two cups a day.

117. ◆Adding Line Art Details
tamakimikesaka
@Wh1t3-L1ly-C00k13: I finally found your X account!
I saw your fan art too, it's amazing.
Sorry I didn’t check it sooner even though you posted it a week ago.
I didn’t really have time to be online this past week.
Looking forward to staying in touch!
NeonKitty1236-2point0
@tamakimikesaka: oh I see, It's fine, and thanks, actually I have changed the drawing a bit so I may try to show u the newer version, I cleaned the lines and colored a bit

116. ◆Kneaded Eraser Tricks
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
Oh, you do hand-drawn art too!
I haven’t used an eraser in about 20 years.
I get them as freebies sometimes, so they’ve just been stacking up in my cabinet.
tamakimikesaka
@NeonKitty1236-2point0
A kneaded eraser would be perfect for you.
You can shape it however you like.
Once you start using one, it’s hard to go back to regular erasers.

115. ◆Sketching Leaves

Agentny003
@tamakimikesaka: Perhaps they’re rare.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
I guess they’re rare where you live too.
Here, we basically have to visit a botanical garden to see them.
Mikesaka Art Class (◆Episodes are about art methods.)
113. ◆Sketching a Hydrangea
Agentny003
Maybe it’s because your teacher has a strong passion for art. Can’t say I blame her. 😁
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
Haha, maybe that’s true.
When I get into drawing, I can go for two or three hours straight. I honestly thought that was normal.
This episode is about my adult class. It’s a two-hour class,
and we take a 15-minute break about an hour in.
My kids class is only an hour and fifteen minutes,
so I assumed they didn’t need a break.
But yesterday, one of my kids students (she’s eight) said about forty minutes in,
“Tamaki, I’m a little tired.”
I was surprised.
Then I remembered — elementary school classes are only 45 minutes long.
I guess I need to start adding a break for my kids students too.

112. ◆Sketching a Rose
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
She’s one of my adult class students, not related.
She’s just so cute, like a white cat, so that’s how I drew her.
Agentny003
@tamakimikesaka: I see.

111. ◆Sketching a Gerbera from Every Angle(3/3)
Agentny003
Are aphids termites or different species of ants? 🤔
tamakimikesaka
Agentny003
Looks like it’s neither.
Apparently, they’re related to stink bugs.
And they smell really bad if you squish them.
Eeeewwwwww._:(´ཀ`」 ∠):

Yeah, Yuki always listens to me carefully.

109. ◆Sketching a Gerbera
Agentny003
No art is perfect. A little distortion doesn’t hurt; in fact, it makes it pop out more.
tamakimikesaka
@Agentny003
Exactly. I want them to embrace the distortions and turn their art into something appealing.

Just cause it doesn’t look too detailed, doesn’t mean it’s bad. Sometimes it is difficult to get details of the image from long distance; always good to
improvise.
