Everyone in this comic is in such a difficult situation, but I think Aiden's gets to me the most. He's just trying so so hard to be a good father to those kids, and there's so much to juggle, so many bad situations he has to let them be in to avoid worse. But through that he keeps trying to be strong for them and put on a positive act. He loves them so much and is so sweet I love him so dearly

Howdy. Things have been a bit on and off as a whole lately. Struggling a lot with mental health issues and some unexpected news at work. The news being that I will soon be out of employment. Lol. I'm slowly but surely navigating figuring things out to avoid being homeless again but I had to take time off to take care of myself. Things still aren't great but they're as good as they're going to be for now so if you couldn't tell by today's TAORA update, we are back to regular posting. Anyway, some announcements.
- I'm moving out of the country in April. I will be taking that month off from comics.
- I will be participating in Art Fight in July. I will be taking that month off from comics as well.
Aside from those two months, updates should happen as planned. I apologize ahead of time for my absence those months but given that only a handful of people even read my comics in the first place, I'm sure it's not exactly devastating anyone. Anyway, a happier announcement.

@pbox: The fight with Mihku and Tae was really good, so much cool layering and using the staff as panel boundaries while still making the action super clear and easy to follow which I imagine can be quite difficult with that kind of layering/ breaking out of panels stuff. It was all super cool and creative. Tae is so fucking cool man, and I loved both her and Mihku's expressions during the fight.

@pbox i feel like with junji, a lot of it ends up being about them not wanting people to ruin the Vibes as opposed to caring much about how talking about touchy subjects would affect others. and as for the arm, there will be some more arm Drama coming up so this will not be the last time it gets brought up! i'm really glad you liked the chapter so much!! as always, thank you for your kinds comments! ilysm! ^^

Some really good visuals this week. Great expressions all around, and backgrounds.
I love the cross shaped panel, everywhere overlaps were used and that great use of the repeated panel in the conversation with Onyx and Aiden. A lot stewing here, that last page especially really got my stomach churning

As usual your insane life sacrificing backgrounds were insanely and life sacrificingly good in the supermarket scene. I loved the expression work in the scene with Aiden and Rosie, it's nice to see their relationship, I think the girlfriend of your best friend dynamic is super fun, there's a nice mix of familiarity and awkwardness. Onyx also has some great expressions, and I love Covin's posture, almost folding in on themself.
Also really like the designs on the one off characters... Random but it's nice seeing characters with spots... Me too Jake me too.

Hi again. I'm back. I have some news. Not bad necessarily but definitely not great. I know I said that I would take the rest of the year as a trial for this new update schedule. As it turns out, that's not necessary because it absolutely is going to kill me if I continue it. I need my rest weeks. I need more gap days between pages. Keeping chapters to just ten pages for the sake of making the deadline and scraping together time for other things, is also destroying me creatively. Losing that one week has been horrendous to work with, especially given all the other projects I'm working on simultaneously. I'm sorry if this is disappointing and it wasn't an easy choice to make. I hate flip-flopping between decisions like this but I know my limits. Ultimately, nothing lost but nothing gained. Lesson learned, though. See you guys at the end of the month with TEMPERAMENTAL's update. I'm gonna go lay face down on the floor.

Hello! I am officially back from hiatus and should actually probably be back from my vacation as well. I’m ready to meet August and get to work back on comics again. I am so inspired and excited for everything I have planned. THAT BEING SAID! I have a special announcement, which is that there will be a change to the update schedule. Instead up updating every four weeks in alternating updates, we are closing the gap a bit and updating every three weeks - still in alternating updates. I gave it a lot of thought and I just have so much planned that I need to pick up the pace with the updates if I really want my stories to get places soon.
SO, consider these next few months a trial. I will give it until the end of the year! If everything goes well and I don’t burn out, then we will stick to the schedule until the end of the year. If it’s too much for me to juggle along with all of my other projects and tasks, then we’ll have to nix it. I hope it is manageable but I have to stay realistic in that between my disability and my day job, it might not exactly be sustainable for me. However, I’m willing to try! So that is all. See you all on the 22nd of August with an update for TEMPERAMENTAL.

I keep thinking on how that love is strength line resonates with me. It's something I've really been thinking lately, and I think it being said to a character like Vivi who has a lot to unlearn and a lot he's struggling with from how he was raised to be. The line being said over an image of Titus I think works in multiple ways. There's Vivi's love for Titus of course, but also I think love is what will make Titus be able to regain himself. Speaking of love the intimacy in all Vivi and his ladies interact 💕💕💕 I will actually eat wolf if they beat me to the colour page and don't choose one of those lmao. Just so much tenderness in it... I also love that page where Vivi's talking about his feelings about sparing Titus, the way the speech bubbles twist is so good

@pbox i definitely was going for a more multifaceted meaning behind love is strength. i feel like the theme in general applies so much throughout the series as a whole. so many people are motivated by love, keep fighting out of love. it's just such a powerful thing. i'm so glad you liked the chapter! i honestly loved working on it so much. def up there for one of my faves from this arc.

Depending on your timezone, it is either update day or the day before update day. The update will be up later but I am here to share some news. There will not be an update for TEMPERAMENTAL next month as I will be taking the month off of any comic work.
I will be back in August with TEMPERAMENTAL which will push the TAORA update back - HOWEVER, I have some news regarding scheduling to announce when I return from hiatus so look forward to that. Very intense chapter. I keep coming back to that Q and Aiden scene. It has me very curious about how they came to know each other, you can see from it how long Q has been looking out for Aiden. I love the different forms of love and support you can see across temp, despite everything going on I'm so glad Aiden has Q looking out for him.

@pbox i'm so glad the interaction stood out! q is honestly the closest thing aiden's ever had to an actual parent. i wanted there still to be a layer of like, aiden still struggling to open up fully to him but q just keeping patient with him while trying to offer the best advice he can offer with making it so that q didn't really know the full story behind aiden's relationship with trent but without minimizing how much q actually means to aiden.

Candy and Crystal are so funny! Crystal's expressions are so so good, I loved the rant. You lost him twice was so so good. There was a ton of dialogue this week and I was impressed by how you handled all the speech bubbles, I can see why it was giving you so much hell but I think it paid off well. It was very fun to get a glimpse of the rest of the crew. I'm glad that Vivi is going to join in on the Mud rescue although that doesn't seem to be his biggest priority in the situation... Seeing him go toe to toe with Sunee is gonna be an experience...

@pbox: as sweet and loving and doting as roger is, he is a very sketchy fella. he's just staking his claim though. his offer wasn't really so much an offer to dom, as it was a warning to mitch. mitch will take this as an invitation, tho. game on! meanwhile, with tabi i really wanted to capture like WHY dom is attracted to her bc i feel like even with HTDA a lot of people don't quite Get Them. she really radiates a comforting presence to him that not a lot of people get to witness. i feel that this is why dom is so attached to roger and tabitha in general, they are very nurturing with him and it allows him room to be vulnerable - which means so much to a man who constantly has his walls up. thank u sm for the comments as always! :3c
