Gordolo is realizing that life with his daughter isn't as simple as he'd hoped. Between continued discrimination from the other gnomes and his career ending injury, he feels his grip on life slowly starting to loosen. He's not completely sure of the path forward, but he may have found the answer in an abandoned automobile.

Firewood is a strange place as it is. It's so out of the way that it essentially stops existing when you leave. To Polly, Corey, and Gord, it's home, and they stomp about as they please. On a night to take back Polly's belongings, the three encounter a bracelet granting strange powers. Polly wants to use it to take revenge on the kids that wronged her, but these three may have opened a door...

Gnomes are known to be a speedy folk, to where they hold grand footraces for exhuberant prices. Gordolo races to provide for his adoptive human daughter, Yolonda. Gnomish society harbors great prejudice against humans, so the once beloved Gordolo is met with much adversity.
