This is a pretty good fist chapter. I'm pretty invested in some of the creative decisions you made here. like starting out half of it with narration backstory was a really bold decision and I think it paid off with how it left me invested to see what happens next. The art is great too. i'm always really enamoured with what looks like traditionally illustrated pages because at some point I also want to do something like that. The photography is interesting, this technique is very reminiscent of Inio Asano's work because of how its juxtaposed with the more iconic character art work. Very cool stuff
