Hello All, Nik here! I've just published Ch.1/Iss.1 of Faction AER! I'm a hobby writer who is just now getting into the comic format. Any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated! I learned my storytelling methods from 25+ years of running tabletop RPGs such as the Trinity series, Pathfinder, and the ever-popular D&D. For now, Faction AER is the only comic I'm actively working on. It's a longer form comic with 3 concurrent chapters (unknown number of issues per chapter; the story is over when it's over), and a final chapter to wrap the story up neatly. Alex, a member of the Hartvigsen family, powerful in both influence and Magical prowess, attends his first day at the North American SouthEastern (NASE) Academy. His overconfidence is quickly challenged as he meets Elizabeth (Liz) Lee, a humble Mage whose calculated precision might just be a match for his inherited raw power. Their unintended showdown at the placement trials might have attracted the wrong kind of attention, as they are confronted by the Academy Headmaster himself! Being an off-campus student, Alex must attend a weekly muster as part of his coursework. There, he accidentally lands himself in a power struggle with his first instructor. Will they manage to end things peacefully?
