Andrés “Nefem” Osorio is a Chilean independent comic artist who simply loves telling stories. He likes to explore the weird, the tender, and the imperfect, with characters who sometimes seem like monsters but have huge hearts. He is the creator of Skullboy, his first independently published comic, a story about magic, spirits, and finding your place in the world.
I want to thank you all for the feedback I've received on the first chapter from various people close to me, and also from those who started reading the comic without knowing what it's about. You don't know how much I appreciate it.
But now I want to talk about the publishing cycle. As you know, I write and draw the comic alone, and it requires an enormous amount of work and time. Since I'm doing it for free, you'll have to bear with me.
That said, here's some important information regarding how it's published and when you can expect a new issue.
Each chapter of Skullboy will be divided into three parts. Each part will be published every two weeks. Once the chapter is completed, with its three parts already published in both Tapas and Globalcomix, the next chapter will be published a month later, and the cycle repeats.
I know if you like it and want to know more about Sam and his friends, it seems like there's a long time between episodes, but don't worry, stay tuned to the Instagram page where I'll be uploading unreleased material, updates, and art that I'm bored out of my mind.
Thank you for your attention and understanding, and don't despair. The second episode of Skullboy comes out on July 11th.
