My Grandmother's Demons

When tavern worker Rivkah overhears a plot to burn her shtetl's synagogue, she races to warn the Rabbi — only to be dismissed, then murdered on the road home. But Rivkah will not be silenced. Returning as a dybbuk, she possesses the Rabbi himself, commanding him to sound the alarm — and proving that even death cannot stop a woman determined to protect her community.
