I want to create work that reminds kids (and adults) that life is always worth living, even when you face hardship, pain, grief, and injustice. These are scary things to face, which makes the message all the more necessary. I want to be honest and make work that resonates with our experiences of the world, but also is hopeful, empowering, and encouraging to those who read it
