Over the centuries there have been stories of figures who had godlike and mystic powers. These people are called the Kindling and there has been a sudden emergence of gifted people. The number is unknown, but is estimated to be thirty percent of the population. A girl named Kit fights in an underground arena for spare cash against other Kindling. (reboot of an older series)

Myra is a girl who has been homeschooled all her life by her adoptive parent and has always been fascinated by Kins an ability that 40% of the world has. People use Kins in their everyday lives, but one of the main things they're used for is Bonfires. A sport where kin users fight in teams of five.
