In a dystopian future, humanity is enslaved by corrupt elites who control money, government, religion, media, medicine, war, and technology. A rogue, Neo-Sapient death squad travels through time to kidnap a pacifist Geisha, the only one capable of wielding a legendary weapon. Torn between her oath never to kill and the desperate cries of a dying world, she must choose whether to embrace her true power or let the future burn.

In this first sci-fi/action/drama comic book series, we meet the culturally diverse Death Squad of Cardiac Arrest. Together, they infiltrate the Diamond, a floating corporation of the SKYE citizens. Inside, they confront the world's wealthiest man, but he is not what he seems.

In the fractured future of Cardiac Arrest, seven immortal elites, the 7Aethers, dominate the world's most powerful institutions, enslaving humanity and squeezing out hope. Sky cities float above the earth while soul-harvesting machines ravage the desperate classes below.

In a last act of defiance, a rogue team of Neo-Sapient super-soldiers risks everything to change fate. Their mission: travel back through broken time and abduct the one person capable of bringing down the Elites, the Bugeisha. She's a young pacifist Geisha whose body harbours the Serpentine SETI, a legendary symbiotic weapon capable of killing demi-gods.

Bugeisha has sworn a sacred oath never to take a life. Haunted by the scars of war and the abandonment of her family, she refuses to become a weapon.
Trapped in a savage future of monsters, corrupted institutions, and brutal war, she faces an impossible choice:
Forsake her vow, fight for a broken world, or let humanity fall into darkness?

Cardiac Arrest is a sweeping, visceral saga about rebellion, sacrifice, and the actual cost of hope. It features kinetic action, deep emotional stakes, and a richly imagined future and draws inspiration from Children of Men, Blade Runner 2049, and Attack on Titan.

At its heart, this is a story about humanity's small, stubborn spark and how even a single soul can set the world on fire.

Why Now:
Cardiac Arrest speaks to a generation standing on the edge of systematic collapse. As governments fail, the media divides, and technology outpaces morality, the central battle is between passive survival and active resistance, reflecting our time's defining struggles.

Cardiac Arrest: The past holds the weapon, the future holds the war.
