Artiechokes

November 1918. A glamorous woman in white arrives in Grottenstown on the morning train, and citizens start dying. She is the "Spanish Lady" influenza virus. Only one teenager realizes what's going on, but Bertie is the town screw-up, and no one ever believes him. Bertie will need all his courage to save a young friend and take down the deadly Spanish Lady.

In the far distant future, after the collapse of civilisation, four adventurers attempt to summon the magic of the all-knowing "speaking stone". Thousands of years before their time, it was an everyday accessory. But now it could change the world - and others desire its powers.
