Orpheus Bloody Requiem Chapter 2 "A Deadly Prophecy"
Hello all,

I have finally released chapter 2 of my dark fantasy comic "Orpheus Bloody Requiem", this new chapter is called "A Deadly Prophecy", for those who emailed me asking for the continuation, I apologize I was a bit late, producing each of these chapters takes about two months of work, I hope you enjoy it and look forward to chapter 3 in about 2 more months, I expect to keep the bimonthly release schedule until all 18 chapters of the series are created.

If you are not familiar with this comic, it is not structured like a traditional panel-based comic. Instead of multiple panels per page, each panel is a full-page vertical or horizontal spread, designed to feel more cinematic and immersive. Some images may require slight scrolling to be seen in full. Each chapter contains around 206 pages and is intended to be read in one sitting, taking roughly 35 to 40 minutes, closer to watching a TV episode than flipping through a conventional comic.

It was created with heavy assistance from AI tools, combined with extensive human curation and editing. Every page was carefully directed and assembled by me. In many cases, creating a single page or panel took several hours: backgrounds, characters, and effects were generated and refined separately, then manually composed together to match my vision. Each page also went through significant post-editing.

The comic is completely free and you can find it here:

https://stevenkurusawa.itch.io/orpheus-bloody-requiem-chapter-1

or if you prefer, you can also find it in global comix:

https://globalcomix.com/c/orpheus-bloody-requiem

The story the comic deals with:

"Orpheus was a gifted poet, musician, and seer. Beloved by all, every living being longed to hear the sound of his lyre. Yet, in a tragic turn of fate, he was brutally murdered by the very people who once worshipped him. His body was torn apart, his head cast into a river, and his blood spilled upon the earth. Centuries later, the consequences of that act still echo through the world. Orpheus: Bloody Requiem is a dark fantasy tale about myth, legacy, violence, and the long shadow of a legend that refuses to fade. "

If you never read chapter 1, I encourage you to do it, many people have emailed me expressing that they were surprised by the story, and I expect chapter 2 to surprise you more than once too. If you invest your precious time to read these chapters and you feel it was not worth it, feel free to write me a nasty email : - )

I hope you enjoy the episodes!

Need feedback on my dark fantasy comic "Orpheus Bloody Requiem"
Hello,
My name is Steven Kurusawa and I'm new in this community, I have made a dark fantasy comic "Orpheus Bloody Requiem", its completely free and you can find the first chapter  here:

https://globalcomix.com/c/orpheus-bloody-requiem

I would love to get some feedback on it, it is a bit different than a traditional comic, every panel is a full vertical or horizontal page, the aim is to make it more immersive or cinematic, its designed to be read in one sitting, like watching an episode of a tv series.

I would really appreciate if some of you can read it and give me some feedback.

Thank you so much!

Re: May 2025 - Introduce Your Comic and You
Hello all,

My name is Steven Kurusawa, I'm new to this community, the reason I joined is to share my new dark fantasy comic "Orpheus Bloody Requiem", its completely free and so far I have published one chapter, but if there is interest, I will be uploading chapter 2 soon.

https://globalcomix.com/c/orpheus-bloody-requiem

The story the comic deals with:
"Orpheus was a gifted poet, musician, and seer. Beloved by all, every living being longed to hear the sound of his lyre. Yet, in a tragic turn of fate, he was brutally murdered by the very people who once worshipped him. His body was torn apart, his head cast into a river, and his blood spilled upon the earth. Centuries later, the consequences of that act still echo through the world. Orpheus: Bloody Requiem is a dark fantasy tale about myth, legacy, violence, and the long shadow of a legend that refuses to fade. "

I'm hoping that if you read it, it might surprise you, hopefully you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it.

It is not structured like a traditional panel-based comic. Instead of multiple panels per page, each panel is a full-page vertical or horizontal spread, designed to feel more cinematic and immersive. Some images may require slight scrolling to be seen in full. Each chapter contains around 206 pages and is intended to be read in one sitting, taking roughly 40 minutes to an hour, closer to watching a TV episode than flipping through a conventional comic.

Again, the comic is completely free and I just would love to have people read it and let me know your impressions.
