I haven't officially published anything yet, but I always manage to procrastinate making the pages. I have ADHD and the meds I'm on do not work. I'm also in school full time. How do you guys manage deadlines?

A bit late, but I actually went through something similar a few months ago. The first chapter I drew of my passion project (not published yet) was drawn in my freshman year of high school... needless to say, I read through it again and even though a lot of people liked it, I didn't. The panels were mostly okay, but the actual text was impossible to read about 25% of the time.

On top of that, the art itself often had bad proportions, lopsidedness, and a couple of the character designs ultimately ended up changing over time. The story itself ALSO changed in some ways, too, so some of the things said in the first chapter did not correlate to that either.

My solution in the end was to completely redo the worst panels altogether, touch up the other panels with the liquify tool + adding on things from the updated character designs, redo some of the dialogue, and stop there.

The truth is, you're always going to see your older works and be unsatisfied with it. Perhaps 2 years from now you'll have the same feeling about your current art. Either way, if you end up redoing everything over and over again, you'll be stuck in a cycle of dissatisfaction. It's easy to want perfect, but you'll have much more success if you settle for "good enough", at least from what I've seen and experienced.

As you mentioned, there's a lot of dialogue errors with spelling and grammar. Personally, I think that kind of distracts the reader from the panels, especially since they're so detailed and intense.

The art is spectacular, definitely more detailed than what I typically draw for my panels. The art is very strong for every panel which COULD be considered a bad thing by some people, but I personally like when there's a bunch of panels like that. The best metaphor I can think of for it is expecting to sample a bunch of cheeses but consistently tasting blue cheese each time.
