I myself use 3D rendering, so I first give you some opinions based on my technical experience, seems to me that you also use Daz3D. The boy tends to have the same facial expression, maybe you can use the expression to give more variety. I personally tend to flatten the 3D effect to give more cartoon like effect.
Another suggestion, for the characters or objects in the background I render them separately, so that I can blur them and give the effect of distance.

they are two different kinds of art. I myself was born as a novelist, had a novel published. Afterwards I got interested in 3D animation and, after some experimentation, I used the 3D skills to make some comics, but I realised that the audience is not the same.

I started with 3D animation and afterwards I realized that this kind of technology could be used also for comics. In real life I'm also an author of novels, so I merged these skills to try comics as another way to narrate a story.
With this nickname I tried also some adult content, I liked the idea to try this genre.

Derinia is an amazon guard protecting a temple dedicated to Hera. She draws the attention and the wrth of another Goddess who decides to punish her.
It is made with a mix of 3d render and AI.

Jessica is a girl who knows a person in a chat and decides to have a drink with him, only to find herself in big trouble.

Both are adult comic for 18+
