As a freelance character illustrator, I have cultivated a dynamic professional profile built upon private commissions and collaborative commercial projects. My journey began with individual character art commissions, often requested for personal branding, social media avatars, and narrative-driven projects such as webcomics and indie games. Each commission required acute anatomical accuracy, adaptive stylistic versatility and sensitive attention to client feedback, ensuring a high degree of client satisfaction and repeat collaborations.Notably, I contributed to a short-form animated advertisement project for a mid-sized marketing studio specializing in youth-targeted digital campaigns. In this role, I was responsible for conceptualizing and designing key character assets used in a 15 second animated ad. My task extended beyond static illustration into pre-visualization, where understanding movement, character consistency across frames, and emotional expressivity became critical. This transition from isolated artwork to animation-ready assets required tight interdisciplinary communication with animators and creative directors. I provided layered PSD files with clearly defined linework, color flats, and expression variations, adhering to technical specifications essential for the rigging and tweening processes. Additionally, I adapted my designs to meet rapid iteration cycles, balancing creative vision with strict production timelines.Through these projects, I developed a deeper proficiency in visual storytelling, enhanced my fluency in industry-standard software (Ibis paint, Clip Studio Paint), and strengthened my ability to synchronize aesthetic appeal with functional design constraints. This cumulative experience has not only sharpened my artistic execution but has also made me a reliable, flexible collaborator in both freelance and production environments.
