Description
I’m a college Game Design student developing an indie game that’s now about halfway through programming. While I continue building assets and sorting out the Steam side of things, I’m also creating a series of full‑length comics to expand the game’s world, characters, and lore. I’m looking for artists, writers, and collaborators to help bring these comics to life. I’ll retain ownership of the characters and setting, but the team will receive the majority of the earnings. What I want is a small team (or to form one if needed) that can make art, write stories, and effectively babysit the characters while I am making the game, I can handle publishing and all the technical stuff, so I doubt it will be anything that you guys wont be used toThe comic is a comedy‑driven adventure set in rural South West Britain. It follows Charlie, a human who can transform into a cartoon, and his rival, a posh, unhinged tech‑nerd leading a growing army of creatures and machines. The story explores their escalating conflict, character dynamics, and world‑building, with room to continue beyond the events of the game if the team enjoys doing this.
Expect the standard to be British humour, action, and occasional serious moments. More details will be shared once the team is assembled.
I've attached some rough sketches (some are quite old so might not be representative of the character's proportions/appearance) and 2 crudely "inked" and vectorised images of Charlie for reference, let me know if you would like to help!
