Description

I'm a versatile comic book editor that can provide services in virtually any which way your project requires, from proofreading to developmental editing to line editing to copy editing and more, such as story consultation, quality control, art advisory, etc.

Most of my gigs are copy editing, for which my rates are $15 per story page. Outside of that, my rates will be negotiated as per the needs of your projects.

I go above and beyond for my clients, such as helping them find an artist or reformatting their script so that it's artist-friendly and they often hire me back.

Once I've agreed to take on work with a client, I'll schedule a general date to begin work taking notes and organizing them. Once a firm date is set, it will take me up to 72 hours to do so (or up to five days if I'm sent scripts that are 50 pages or more).

I recommend contacting me if you have a draft of the script ready to go and before you've done any art (or it is at least in the thumbnail stage) as there will likely be changes that I'd recommend, and it is better to have that squared away before the art process has begun.

I endeavor with every script to set the writer up so that their script is artist-ready, letterer-ready, and what I like to call "publishing-ready" with just one pass. At least this way, on the chance that a second pass is needed, the heavy lifting will have already been done, so if need be, I'll do a second pass for free.

If, however, major revisions are made to the script (or is otherwise redone completely from scratch), a second pass will be akin to going over the script for the first time because I'd be doing what I did the first pass all over again, making it a new job entirely. I will have to charge my rates once more.
