Hisaki and Yasha are an odd pair of friends: Hisaki is quiet, distant, and possibly keeping secrets from everyone, while Yasha is loud, violent, and in serious need of anger management. As they try to deal with each other, they soon find that creatures are after them for something they know nothing about: a demon supposedly hiding within one of them.
Kakon has awoken from the drug's influence, and is back to normal...but he's angry with Kuroi. He and Hisaki have to take him on, but first they need to save Yasha.
I am really curious why Kijo and Yasha didn’t immediately trade out once the explosive was neutralized. I get that Hisaki is currently obsessed with doing everything himself, and maybe that Yasha doesn’t want to rely on Kijo either, but it seems like by this point in the confrontation they should know Kuroi is such a high value target that it’s worth making use of all their resources to take him down if they’re going to try.
@SomniaWinter Yeah, I suspect that smarter/more mature kids would've let Kijo out, but as you pointed out, Hisaki and Yasha are stubborn little shits. xD; Hisaki took down Iizasa so he thinks he can take care of himself, and Yasha just plain hates letting Kijo out. I suspect Hisaki might've accepted Kijo's help once the skeleton army arrived, but by that point Yasha was gone and Kuroi was on the way out. They're just dummies, to sum it up.
@Kikirini: Hahaha that’s fair, I definitely buy that for them. But what about Kijo herself? Is she aware of what’s going on at this time and able to communicate with Yasha or are there times she is asleep/unconscious when not in control?
@SomniaWinter Yeah, Kijo is aware of what's going on. She is usually respectful of Yasha's wishes to stay out, unless she's in danger. Keeping Yasha safe is generally her #1 priority. And since Hisaki is looking for the same people she is, she knows he will get the information if he wins. Kuroi is not the only underling Akujin has, so if he escapes/doesn't spill the beans, she has other options. Akujin wants her just as badly as she wants him, so she knows it's only a matter of time before SOMEONE folds and takes her to him. (sorry about the wall of text xD;)
