**Chapter Synopsis – Volume 1: Death of Eugene Addison** Eugene Addison is dead. Awakening beyond the world of the living, he finds himself standing at the threshold of judgment, where the ancient gods Anubis and Thoth await. Stripped of excuses and unable to hide from the truth, Eugene must confront the memories, choices, and sacrifices that defined his life. As his soul journeys through the shadows of the afterlife, fragments of his past emerge. Memories of family, love, hardship, and loss reveal a man who struggled against forces both within and beyond his control. The deeper he travels, the more he is forced to face the consequences of decisions that changed the lives of those he cared for most. Yet judgment is not his only challenge. Lurking within the darkness is Vicious Eugene, a reflection of anger, guilt, fear, and the destructive impulses he carried throughout his life. As the line between memory and nightmare begins to blur, Eugene must confront this darker self before it consumes what remains of his soul. Guided through ancient halls, forgotten realms, and visions drawn from Egyptian mythology, Eugene discovers that every action leaves a mark and every soul carries a record that cannot be erased. The scales of judgment draw closer with every step, and the final weighing will determine whether redemption remains possible. Volume 1 begins the dark journey of Ra No Tabi, introducing the mysteries of the afterlife, the power of judgment, and the hidden truths behind Eugene Addison's death. It is a story of consequence, sacrifice, family, and the search for meaning beyond the grave. As the record is opened and the scales are prepared, one question remains: What price must a soul pay for the life it has lived?

My thoughts on Ra No Tabi: Volume 1 – Death of Eugene Addison.

Looking back on Volume 1, I see more than a comic. I see years of experiences, hardships, lessons, victories, failures, and memories transformed into a story. What began as an idea became a journey that allowed me to explore themes of family, sacrifice, consequence, and redemption through the lens of Egyptian mythology and horror.

Volume 1 was never intended to provide all the answers. It was designed to ask questions. What defines a person? Can someone be redeemed for their mistakes? What remains when everything else is taken away? These are questions Eugene faces throughout his journey, and they are questions many of us face in our own lives.

The story introduces the world of Ra No Tabi, but it only scratches the surface of the mysteries surrounding Anubis, Thoth, Vicious Eugene, and the forces that shape the fate of souls. There is still much more to uncover.

Most importantly, Volume 1 represents the beginning of something larger. The foundations have been laid, the record has been opened, and the journey has begun. I am grateful to everyone who has taken the time to read, support, share, and believe in this project.

This is only the first step.

The scales have been prepared.
The record has been written.
The journey continues.
