This was REALLY well made. But does need to be a bit longer, maybe a bit more backstory. But I do know there is more to be made so I won’t jump on your head about it. I give it a 9.5/10!!

This was really good! I hope we get to see the origin of Bottle-Ant and how he got his alien parasite armor/suit! Since you asked for criticism though, I think the biggest thing to work on is pacing and context.

Even though it’s a short story, some parts moved a little too fast and felt like they skipped over important setup. For example, we get almost no indication of who the villain is until they suddenly appear, so the reveal feels a bit abrupt. The beginning does a good job setting the scene, but once the date starts there’s very little interaction or dialogue, which makes it harder to connect to the moment or understand the characters before things escalate.

I also felt like some details needed more explanation, like what happened to the rest of the bodies in the villain’s lab. That felt like an important detail that got introduced but never really addressed. The fight between Bottle-Ant and the villain also felt very short and ended pretty abruptly, especially considering it seemed like the climax of the story.

One other thing I’d mention is the cover. The artwork itself is honestly really cool and well done, but it feels a little misleading compared to the actual story. The historical figures on the cover don’t really have relevance to the plot, so it creates expectations that never get paid off. I think it might work better if the cover hinted more toward the villain or the actual conflict in the comic instead.

But overall, great job. This was a really solid mini comic and I genuinely enjoyed reading it. I think with a little more breathing room in the pacing and some added context, it could become even stronger. I’m definitely looking forward to reading the first issue when it’s finished. Sorry that was a long comment lol.
