This may be the biggest quality gap between art and script that I’ve ever seen. Tradd Moore delivers some of the most kinetic, thrilling still images I’ve ever laid eyes on. Justin Jordan does not once deliver an even 2-dimensional character with a motivation that has any grounding in the world or its events. The series’ greatest sin though is that the copious fight scenes never evolve. Binging the whole book becomes a grind as you lose hope for anything new to happen.
