I really find it hard to accept someone like the author has let powerscaling be the focus before telling a story with engaging characters. It just screams “I was bullied in school for being the weird black anime kid”

You don't offer criticism in this way. For background, this guy is furious because he lost the debate between Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog and my character Kaizen Pyua. He made the immature decision to simply review bomb. Don't be like this guy. - Author.

@vstheworld:  "Oh, sweetie. It's truly adorable how upset you are that a fictional character didn't meet your arbitrary power-scaling demands in my comic. Did someone forget to tell you that creators get to tell their own stories? Resorting to personal insults because Sonic isn't 'universal' enough for your taste just screams 'I'm a little upset I didn't get my way.' Maybe try finding a comic that actually scales to your exact preferences, or better yet, learn to cope with minor disappointments like an adult.

@XenoComixStudio: All that aside is the a story and character work to this story just asking cause I love the art style, the designs and the colours I just don't get if there's a story to this

@dfang37: It honestly tells you everything you need to know on the first page and in the first chapter.
If you're looking for a more in-depth answer, Black Fire is a coming-of-age story centered on growing the future generation, black excellence, and breaking generational fighting. It's built on themes of family and unity.
I’m not gonna spoon-feed you, but that should tell you enough.
