My comic Moonflower is inspired by a middle eastern folklore about djinn and spirits, and I would say The Red Djinn Woman was inspired by a lot of really powerful women I met in my life, despite that she's a character I pretty much made up in my head.

Oh yeah! Actually I illustrated the cover myself and drew and inked everything inside, and my colorist did the color/shading for the inside pages.
