One Halloween night she is cursed, murdered and transformed into a mindless, ravaging zombie who is compelled to enact cruel and monstrous deeds. We begin our tale at the point of her death, and accompany her through her vicious, tenacious and bloody fight to recover her humanness - a vast journey of exploration which spans hundreds of years and touches countless cultures, pivotal points in history and mysterious worlds that rest outside the reach of mortal souls.
