The Akolyte comic series from Konkret Comics follows Demetri Price, who embarks on a journey to the stars and discovers his heritage as the son of a Supremeāa race of cosmic beings with immense power who oversee the universe. As he learns to harness his newfound abilities, he returns to Earth as its greatest hero, facing challenges from authorities, criminal bosses, and extraterrestrial foes known as the Children of Chaos. These alien warriors arrive demanding a mysterious artifact, setting Demetri, now Akolyte, on a path to defend his planet and uncover hidden truths. With influences from Dragon Ball, Star Wars, and Man of Steel, Akolyte combines classic superhero storytelling with a modern twist, celebrating courage, legacy, and cosmic adventure
AND-I'm probably stopping here, as while the art is IMMACULATE...you guys don't really have much of a story here.
Akolyte reads like the kind of charcter old school publishers would try to push in the Bronze age, have his book get cancelled, and then have his story resolved in either Marvel Team-Up, or other publications.
TO CLARIFY-there is a lot of good here, but you need to make your villains more threatening, and your hero more engaging.
