((READS RIGHT TO LEFT)) Shrouded by dangerous beasts, Penumbra's only hope for existence comes from its powerful witches. With the pressure of Penumbra's safety and her mother's legacy, Helena finds herself lost in her pursuit of perfection. It's up to Pairo to stop Helena from taking things too far and restore the bond they once had.
NOTE:
This is an old ONESHOT I made in collaboration with a good friend of mine, it's old but i thought it might be a cool read and to see some of my past work. enjoy!

Yo this last page was super wholesome 😄 you can really feel the creator’s excitement talking about how long it took and how much their art evolved. the little moments like apologizing to Helena and noticing she’s glowing hit hard and make the characters feel real. the shout-outs and links at the end are a nice touch for fans too
Question tho do you think the art style here really shows the growth the creator was talking about or is it more the vibe of the scene that sells it?
personally, I think you can see the growth in the art itself as the pages go on. of course, that feeling gets stronger if you’re really invested in the story, since the scene’s mood helps highlight the improvement too. both i suppose.
Thanks for explaining! I can definitely see the improvement in the art as the story goes on, it really makes the scenes more immersive. I actually have an idea for a scene that could fit with this style and I have a few more ideas too if you’d like me to share
