At the edge of known space lies the Yard—a massive, rotting graveyard where ancient warships and lost dreams are torn apart for scrap under the cold gaze of NEXA Corp. Here, a crew of seven once-proud survivors grinds out a living, salvaging what little value remains from the wrecks of forgotten wars and abandoned worlds. Broken by the system, bound together by scars and necessity, they cling to survival—until a discovery buried deep in the rust threatens to ignite a chain reaction they can't outrun. When Kieran Holt, the crew’s youngest member, unearths a relic unlike anything the Yard has ever seen, old secrets rise to the surface—secrets NEXA would kill to keep buried. Haunted by the mysterious death of his parents under NEXA’s watch, Kieran sees more than just credits in the relic’s strange glow. He sees a chance to expose the lies that destroyed so many lives... and maybe, to finally forge a future worth fighting for. But in a world where loyalty is bought cheap, and freedom is just another broken promise, standing against the machine might cost the Shipbreakers more than they can afford. Rust never sleeps. And neither does the truth.

For those with a keen eye will see that I missed the edit on Kieran's actual age! He is 24 not 34. He is the youngest member of the crew. Thank you to my daughter for catching that!

I hope you all will enjoy the world building, story development and character design. I understand the stigma of using AI generated art and writing. But consider this, the whole universe and ideas are coming from a human mind. AI is just the tool to expand and take those ideas to the next level. The idea of SHIPBREAKERS! came to me a few moths back after I had watched a documentary on how real decommissioned sea faring cruise ships, oil tankers and any manner of shipping vessels are run aground at the Gadani Shipbreaking Yard in Pakistan. In all my years, I never imagined this was something that existed! So, that spawned the idea for what has become SHIPBREAKERS! Please share and comment your thoughts whether it be what you like or don't like! Cheers.
