Zoloru Episode 1

A lonely merchant freighter crossing the outer reaches of the galaxy suddenly finds itself hunted by the legendary Njorvo pirate battleship, The Morrigon. Within minutes the vessel is crippled and boarded by the infamous Laughing Goddess, Captain Zoloru, and her elite warriors. The ruthless boarding appears to be just another pirate raid, but beneath the bloodshed cracks begin to form within the crew. Veteran first mate Breakja challenges Zoloru, arguing that their people were once conquerors, not thieves, and that the last Queen of the Njorvo should be leading her people toward rebuilding their lost empire instead of raiding merchant ships. Though the argument nearly ends in violence, his words take root. After completing one final transaction with a longtime black-market buyer, Zoloru makes a shocking decision. She severs all ties to her criminal past by destroying the buyer's ship, declaring the age of piracy over. With the loyalty of her crew secured, Zoloru announces an ambitious new mission: reclaim the glory of the ancient Njorvo Empire. Schtieger's search for a suitable homeworld identifies a remote blue planet inhabited by a technologically primitive species—a world its inhabitants simply call Earth. As The Morrigon sets course for the Solar System, humanity remains blissfully unaware that an ancient warrior civilization has chosen their world as the birthplace of a new empire.
