Chapter 1: Humble Beginnings

In a quiet town near a forested region, we are introduced to Mariah and Toki, two members of a newly formed Magic Guild Team who are out on their first assignment. They were both tasked with capturing a lowly criminal, but end up having difficulties, that is until a local speech given by the person is question grabs their attention. Meanwhile, a mysterious girl is seen exploring around town at her own leisure. Just who this girl is and why she's very protective of locket is yet to be known.
