Kaito knows better than most that his life could end at any moment if not for the protection that comes from being at Akihiko’s side. That pleasant life ends the moment a summons arrives from Gyoganseki Province, calling Akihiko home to take up his father’s title. Kaito feels the mountains of Gyoganseki press in from every side, and it doesn’t take long for Kaito to notice that Akihiko is not quite himself, insisting that something out there is calling to him.
