Davante, newly awakened with Fearless Resolve, offers Daunte and Anthony an alliance, claiming the tournament leader is the true enemy and that they’ll never survive alone. Anthony immediately rejects the idea, unable to forgive Davante for everything that’s happened, insisting he’ll never trust him no matter how much he’s changed. Before the argument can continue, Gary arrives, eager to fight. Anthony accepts the challenge without hesitation, promising Davante that once Gary is dealt with, he’ll be next. The battle begins with Anthony unleashing his incredible speed and Voltage Surge, even summoning his Spectral Spirit to restrain Gary while he lands a relentless barrage of devastating blows. Despite the assault, Gary remains unfazed, showing overwhelming physical strength. Meanwhile, an injured Daunte enters the battlefield, warning Anthony that something feels wrong about Gary. Distracted by Daunte’s condition, Anthony loses focus for a split second. Gary takes advantage, breaking free from the Spirit’s grip with sheer force and landing the first clean hit of the fight. The clash grows fiercer as Anthony’s speed and precision are matched by Gary’s overwhelming power. Even after landing multiple strikes, Anthony realizes Gary is barely affected. Watching from the sidelines, Davante senses a hidden energy beneath Gary’s skin—something far more dangerous than brute strength. The chapter ends with a shocking revelation: orange electricity begins crackling from Gary’s body, identical to Anthony’s own Voltage Surge. Staring in disbelief, Anthony realizes his signature power may not be unique after all, while Gary smirks and reveals he can control the Surge as well.
