The Price Of Fear

Davante approaches his team leader, Alexander—his father—and asks to spend 500 points on a “Dangerous Animal.” With reluctant approval, he meets Antony at the tournament’s suspicious Animal Shop and makes the purchase… only to receive a massive, terrifying spider. Antony, crippled by arachnophobia, immediately panics and runs as the creature chases him. Frustrated, Davante goes after him—only for Daunte and Anthony to suddenly appear. Without hesitation, they strike, shattering Davante’s legs and leaving him helpless on the ground. As tears stream down his face, Davante begs them to spare Antony and kill only him. But mercy has no place in the tournament. Anthony begins charging a devastating punch meant to finish them both. At the last possible second, Antony teleports in front of the attack and catches it. The impact begins tearing his body apart. As he disintegrates, Antony apologizes to Davante and tells him he loves him. Davante can only watch in horror as the one person he dragged into the tournament sacrifices himself. Anthony mocks Davante’s grief, preparing another finishing blow while Davante spirals into guilt and self-hatred. He blames himself for everything—for the spider, for the tournament, for Antony’s death. The final strike lands. Everything goes black. In the darkness, a single thought echoes: “Where am I?”
