As the next round of the tournament begins, Daunte prepares himself—finally reuniting with Tony, who casually tosses him a water before the fight. Refreshed, Daunte steps into the battle zone, scanning for Johnny’s remaining teammate. Instead, he’s greeted by a harmless-looking cat. When Daunte bends down to pet it, the creature suddenly transforms into a raging bear and attacks, forcing Daunte to dodge instinctively. The announcer introduces the challenger: Trevor of Treval, a high-level shapeshifter who boasts of being the strongest of his kind. Unimpressed, Daunte charges and lands a punch—only for Trevor to turn into a rat and flee, turning the fight into a chaotic chase as Anthony heckles from the sidelines. When Daunte grabs the rat, it morphs into a snake and bites him before escaping again. Back in human form, Trevor taunts Daunte, claiming he can’t adapt the way a shapeshifter can. That’s enough to push Daunte into SSD2 Rage Mode. As Daunte advances, Trevor panics and pours all his energy into transforming into a massive dragon. The dragon unleashes waves of fire, but Daunte dodges effortlessly, disappearing from sight before delivering a devastating blow to the back of the dragon’s head. Grabbing the dragon by the tail, Daunte spins it violently and hurls it into space, confidently assuming victory. But just as he declares the fight too easy, Anthony’s expression shifts in horror. Behind Daunte, a larger, enraged dragon reappears—now burning with darker, more violent flames. The dragon fires point-blank. From Anthony’s perspective, all that remains of Daunte is a charred silhouette burned into the ground. Anthony snaps, fury surging—while Tony and the spectators stand frozen in confusion. Cliffhanger.
