As Daunte rises, Anthony sheds the last of his hesitation—his Voltage Surge fully stabilized and sharpened into a lethal edge. Daunte offers the remainder of his power, and Anthony answers by pushing beyond rage: his spirit flares red, his eye burns bright, and his strikes become surgical. In a devastating sequence, Anthony and his spirit tear through Davante’s torso—ripping him clean in half—yet the godlike foe refuses to die, clutching himself aloft with monstrous, barely-held strength. Tony watches in stunned confusion as Davante delays the end by clinging to life through some deeper power. Anthony steels himself, vowing to finish what he started—but the final panel twists the knife: Davante’s broken form begins to pulse with a new, divine silver energy. Whatever came from cutting him open has only stirred something worse.
