Aliens live among us, that's public knowledge. What's not? Aliens live within us. They have for 20,000 years in the form of a quantum mesh that houses a conciousness. This bio/tech green ghostly hybrid is called an UMBRA. Umbra were designed for long space journeys. 1000 year space trip... No problem. When you reach a destination the Umbra wakes up and inhabits a clone. Cool, right? No, not when you get stranded on Earth, 20,000 years ago, and all clones went bye bye. So they made a choice. And ya, they chose to live; at the expense of us humans. Today few still live. Generations of hopping body to have left human vessels less comfortable vessels and their Umbra are becoming unanchored from host nuerolgy; reality is slippling away basically. Desparate and weary, one NAKI makes plans to go home, which would not be good for humans. The ticket home costs 8 billion human lives.
