Scarlet

VULTURE - Bonus Issue #14.5: “Scarlet” Mature 17+ violence, blood, strong language A small orange cat shouldn’t matter in a city like Blackgrave. But on a night when Blackgrave goes too quiet, Vulture spots three thugs in an alley—laughing as they torment a terrified kitten trapped in a tipped box. Between patrols, safehouse moves, and the constant pressure of The Devil’s Mayor tightening his grip on the city, the team tries to keep moving until Vulture makes a choice that should be simple: he kneels, takes off the mask, and speaks softly to the stray. I’m not them. Against every instinct the streets taught her, the kitten climbs onto his shoulder. “Scarlet” is a character-driven interlude to The Devil’s Mayor arc equal parts heart and tension showing how the VULTURE team gained their smallest member… and why, in Blackgrave, even compassion can put a target on your back.
